Less Surviving, More Thriving

When we shift our focus from managing our time to building our energy,  miracles can happen: we can get more done, in less time, with greater results and more satisfaction. What’s more, it doesn’t require gimmicks or snake oil, just a perception shift and a commitment to focusing on thriving.

This is one part learning, one part conversation, and one part coaching to make for a rich workshop experience for each participant.

The Art of Possibility Planning

This discussion will take an evolved and creative approach to scenario planning through a mini-workshop and group conversation on The Art Of Possibility Planning. Taking into account what we know (and don’t know) about the future is only one part of recognizing and responding to what opportunities can be created in a time where so much feels unknown. It applies in both business and life, so no matter what is going on for you, you will find the content relevant!

Traits of Great Leaders
What we need to learn and unlearn to unlock our greatness

Most of us have great leadership traits within us already. However, through various experiences in our lives, we may have forgotten or dismissed some of what has the power to make us the most successful leader we can be. This interactive workshop will identify the traits of great purpose-driven leaders and what we need to remember, learn, and unlearn to call forth those traits in ourselves.

Participants can expect to walk away with some actionable next steps, and hopefully some “ah-ha’s” about themselves and their leadership.

The Leadership Marathon: Shifting Culture Towards Sustainability and Balance

Many organizations operate with limited resources and a constant sense of urgency to get things done. These factors coupled with rapid response technology can lead to leadership behavior and organizational culture that erodes performance, or leaves leaders burnt out and ineffective. In this workshop, we will lead participants through research-backed processes of managing energy for high performance. We will highlight strategies for leaders to integrate new behaviors into organizational culture that lead to more sustainable and effective ways of working. Participants will learn how leaders (and in turn, their teams) can become laser-focused on how and where they spend their time and energy. Nonprofits need and deserve leaders who are strong role models for work and life balance. Participants will gain tools for learning to manage their energy toward what is most critical, toward the pursuit of high-performance for the long-haul.

This workshop is open to any level, but is best suited to those in director-level or above positions.

Sustainable Organizations Start With Leadership

The urgency of many of our global crises coupled with personal commitments of staff to make an impact often lead to leadership behaviors and organizational cultures that erode commitment and performance, or worse, leave leaders and teams burnt out and ineffective.

In this interactive seminar, we will lead participants through research-backed processes of managing energy for high performance and strategies for leaders to integrate new behaviors into organizational culture that lead to more sustainable and effective ways of working. We will counter the belief that better "time management" will fix the never-ending list of important work and to-do's. Instead, we will look at how leaders (and in turn, their teams) can become laser-focused on how and where they expend their energy, and how the use of strategic rest and recovery leads to higher output and outcomes.

This event is appropriate for staff who hold director-level and above positions
